HUNGER GAMES

All my praises go out to the author of this book, Suzanne Collins. She has written such a riveting story, I was just consumed by how intense she kept the plot through out all the three books. I admit at first I wasn't such a fan of this book. My sister pried and convinced me start reading The Hunger Games.

THE HUNGER GAMES

She was the first one to get hooked and by the looks of it, this was nothing short of interesting. Here's the gist of it. I could not put the book down that I found myself sleeping at 2 in the morning for almost 3 nights straight. Based on my opinion though, Catching Fire was my personal favorite, the second book in the series. I don't want to spoil anything for any potential readers out there so I'm just gonna endorse this to you. READ THE TRILOGY. You will not be disappointed. Especially with the movie just released, all the more reason to be a fan!

I'm sure there's also a lot of hype over Hunger Games because everyone seems to be comparing it to Twilight. Besides the fact that there are 2 boys vying for Katniss' love, there are no other similarities. Now don't get me wrong. I've read both series so I'm judging with good knowledge. Twilight is really based on more of a forbidden love-vampires are beautiful-damsel in distress thing. The Hunger Games is more directed at the problems that humanity faces so plot-based, the love story is just there to make the story interesting. These books are nothing alike.

Although both movies have a gorgeous cast, if I do say so myself. Especially Josh Hutcherson (fangirl over here)

3LOYALTY

SUMMER VIBES ♥

I just had my last day of classes yesterday with my section, 3-Loyalty. And honestly, I had a blast with them the past school year and it's so hard to think that I've come to the end of my journey with this beautiful class. At the start of the year, I'll admit that I was intimidated by some of classmates seeing as how I didn't really know most of them. Leaving behind my sophomore year was also difficult but something about my junior year just makes it so impossible to say goodbye to my 38 beautiful sisters and my adviser. I've had my fair share of stress over the past 10 months hyping over college and all. Although just coming to class and seeing my classmates in the morning seems to make everything better. I have no words to describe these girls except that they are the most amazing people I've ever met and I can never thank them enough for making my life so full of faith, hope and love. Now that I'm an incoming senior in high school, I will never forget this one class that changed how I define family and how it is like to be united. THANK YOU SO MUCH 3L. You'll forever be in my heart ♥

Thank you for making me laugh to the point where I couldn't be breathe. Thank you for being my heroes ♥
I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!

STOP KONY 2012

I came across this video last night about an LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) leader who abducts children and has created an army of over 30,000 children. His name is JOSEPH KONY

You've probably watched this but for those who have no clue, PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO. Yes I know it's 30 minutes and you'd probably take a look at this video for less than 5 seconds and conclude that it isn't worth your while. But trust me, it will be. When my sister first sent me the link over twitter, yes I stared at it too. Yes I thought about closing the window and not watch the video. BUT I'M GLAD I DIDN'T. PLEASE DO NOT BE IGNORANT. These children need your help. You're just one click away from saving someone's life. SO GO DO IT.
